How to Use the H2O Shield™ PICC Line Shower Cover
1. Use cases:
- The H2O Shield™ provides reliable and comfortable water protection for PICCs, midlines, IVs, wounds, and dressings so that users can shower with confidence.
- For external use, on top of an adhesive dressing only.
2. Application:
- Step 1: Stretch the upper navy neoprene seal, making sure the logo is facing up.
- Step 2: Pull the H2O Shield™ over the arm, ensuring it covers the device, bandage, or injury completely.
- Step 3: Confirm that the neoprene seal lays flat against your skin. It should be wrinkle-free and snug for optimal waterproof protection.
- Step 4: Once the cover is securely in place, you can shower and move as needed without worry.
3. Removal:
- Step 1: Carefully stretch the upper neoprene seal.
- Step 2: Gently pull the H2O Shield™ down, taking care not to tug on the device, bandage, or injury.
- Step 3: Hang the H2O Shield™ to air dry, away from any heat source.
Note: The H2O Shield™ is designed to dry relatively quickly, typically within 2-3 hours, depending on the environment. We recommend that it be allowed to fully dry before reuse to maintain the best conditions.

1. Cleaning:
- Hand wash with a mild disinfectant or detergent.
- If water gets inside the shield during cleaning, towel dry it thoroughly.
2. Storage:
