Additional Tips for PICCPerfect Line Cover

  • Avoid Excess Moisture: Keep the cover dry to prevent skin irritation and maintain its effectiveness. It's generally best to avoid applying lotions near the PICC line insertion site.
  • Comfort Check: The cover should fit snugly but not too tight, and it should not cause any discomfort. Ensure that it covers the insertion site completely and securely without obstructing the line or causing any issues with circulation. Do note: just like your favorite jeans, the cover may stretch out with frequent use. But don’t worry—simply wash it in the machine, and the fabric will return to its original size.
